There is a known issue with Apple Logic Pro X on MacOS High Sierra 10.13.2 which prevents Logic from validating the MIDI-controlled Effect component of Stutter Edit when scanning for plug-ins.
To resolve this, please download and install the most current version of Stutter Edit from our Downloads page.
After installing please be sure to clear your plug-in cache to rescan for the AU MIDI-Controlled Effect portion of Stutter Edit by following these steps:
- Close all applications
- Click on the Go menu
- Hold down the option key to show the hidden user library
- Click on library then find the caches folder and click on it
- Locate the logic folder. When you open this folder, there will be a file named logicpro1032 (or whatever number version of logic you're running)
- click and drag this file to your desktop
Open logic again this will force the program to rewrite all your plug-ins to this files making it rescan everything including failed AU's.
