A: When you upgrade to Spire Pro, you’ll also get exclusive access to Spire’s newest, cutting-edge features and content as they are added, taking your vocal recordings to the next level. Click here to see Spire Pro’s current available features.
Q: Will I get more features monthly?
A: Features and content will be available as they are added once they're ready for customers to enjoy. We don’t have a set calendar cadence for new Spire Pro feature releases but will continually offer value to our customers.
Q: I am a Spire Pro subscriber and saw that there is a new feature for Spire Pro but it doesn’t show up in my app, how do I get access to new features?
A: You’ll need to update your Spire iOS app to the latest version from the App Store to access new features once they’ve launched.
Q: I own Spire Studio Hardware, will I still see upgrades to the application if I don’t have Spire Pro?
A: We will continue to support and update the free Spire app and firmware for Spire Studio. Spire Pro grants access to exclusive new features and content that will only be available through subscribing.
Q: Is Spire Pro a separate version of the app? If not, how does it know if customers have subscribed? For example: if they have more than one device?
A: Spire Pro is an upgrade to the free Spire iOS app. Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID so mobile devices signed into your Apple ID will have access to your App Store subscriptions, including Spire Pro. To access your subscription on another iOS device, sign into your Apple ID, visit Settings in the Spire app and tap Restore Purchases.
Q: As a Spire Studio hardware owner can I get full Spire Pro functionality for free?
A: Spire Pro is not available for free to hardware owners.

Q: What do I lose if I cancel my subscription?

Your Spire app experience will revert to the free version.
Q: Once subscribed, regarding Soundcheck, there won't be a way to go to past projects and add this new functionality, correct?
A: You won’t be able to apply the upgraded Soundcheck to previously recorded vocals. You’ll need to run Soundcheck with Spire Pro and record a new vocal track.

A: Currently, we do not have a timeline for when we might bring Spire Pro to Android.
Q: Has anything been removed from the capabilities of Soundcheck in the free version of the app or Spire Studio experience that now must be paid for in Spire Pro?
A: Soundcheck in the free Spire iOS app and for Spire Studio hardware users has not been changed and nothing has been removed from it. You’ll enjoy the same level setting, instrument identification, and tone-shaping that you currently have. When you subscribe to Spire Pro, it adds personalized vocal processing on top of the usual Soundcheck capabilities.
Q: What is a “mix effect” and how does it work?
A: Mix effects, like Tune, are added after your record from the Mix view. These are the first type of effects for Spire that do not require Spire Studio hardware to access, you can add Tune with the standalone iOS app if you are a Spire Pro subscriber!
Q: Do mix effects work for Spire Studio hardware?
A: In order to apply a mix effect, you’ll need to disconnect from Spire Studio from your WiFi settings.
Q: Can I use Tune on any track?
A: Tune is a pitch correction effect that is designed for vocals. Tracks that have been Soundchecked and identified as vocals or have had the track icon manually changed to vocals can have Tune applied to them from the Mix view.
