Some iZotope products are now supported on the Apple Silicon chipset while running the recording software in Rosetta mode. We have included more information on Rosetta mode and how to get up and running with it below.
What is Rosetta Mode?
Now that Apple has introduced new Macs with Apple silicon chipsets, iZotope has begun development work to ensure native compatibility with these machines. Until Native support is available, we are working to ensure that products will run in Rosetta mode. Rosetta mode translates applications made for Intel-based devices so that they can work with the Apple silicon chips.
How do I run my recording software in Rosetta mode?
- Open the Finder and go to your Applications folder.
- Right-Click on for your recording software
- Click on “Get Info”
- Tick “Open using Rosetta.”
- Once completed, restart your recording software then you should be all set.
**Please note, in order to run in Rosetta mode, be sure to update to the latest version of your recording software as we have seen the option not show up for some older hosts.**
