During the installation of BreakTweaker and the BreakTweaker Content (Factory Content and the Expansion Pack Content), you are given the option to install the content to a custom location. This is useful if you have a specific hard drive that you store your sample content to, and you do not want to install the content on your main hard drive.
To install the content to a custom directory, please follow these steps:
- Run the BreakTweaker or BreakTweaker content installer.
- When you get to the 'Custom Install' (Mac OS X) or the 'Select Destination Location' (Windows) screen, choose your desired installation location.
Note: All BreakTweaker content must reside within the same BreakTweaker Library directory.
- Once the installation is complete, launch your plug-in host, and open the BreakTweaker plug-in.
- Click the small gear icon to open the BreakTweaker options window. In the 'Library Location' section, make sure that directory shown here matches the directory where you installed the content.
A proper BreakTweaker Library folder structure will look similar to:
- BreakTweaker Library
- Generators
- Samples
- Presets
