Important: These steps are for older versions of our software that still support the VST 2 format. Most products in our current product line are VST 3 only so this won't apply as plugins will need to be in their default VST 3 directory. VST3, AAX and AU plug-ins should not be installed or moved to custom locations.
Mac
Since the majority of iZotope products aren't sample-based software and don't contain a sound library, there's nothing to relocate when installing. This is because most host applications/DAWs look in the same locations for plugin components and this can't be moved on Mac. VST3, AAX and AU plug-ins should not be installed or moved to custom locations.
BreakTweaker and Iris 2 have Library files that can be moved. You can define where you'd like this to be installed by selected Custom Install when running the installer. If you're using Product Portal to install, you can click the Gear icon in Product Portal > Preferences and set Custom Install as your preferred method.
