This article includes information about Rosetta and native compatibility of iZotope and Exponential Audio products on Apple silicon (M-series) Macs.
Apple Rosetta 2 enables software built for an Intel Mac to run on an Apple silicon Mac. All of our currently shipping products and certain older products are compatible with Rosetta 2. See the table below for format and minimum supported version information related to Rosetta support.
Apple silicon native support enables software to run natively on Apple silicon arm64 processors without the need for Rosetta 2 translation. All of our currently shipping products support running natively on Apple silicon in applicable formats, some older products will not be updated to include native support and only support Rosetta. See the table below for minimum supported versions per format and information on products that will not be updated with native support.
Product Portal requires Rosetta 2 to run on Apple silicon Macs.

* iZotope VST2 plug-ins are supported in Rosetta only. Native support will not be added to VST2 plug-ins.
** RX AU ARA plug-ins are only available in Logic Pro when opened in Rosetta 2 mode.
*** Symphony and Stratus VST2 format was deprecated in 3.1.0 releases. VST2 is not available in Symphony or Stratus version 3.1.0 or greater.
