When headphones are connected to one of the two headphone jacks on Spire Studio you will have the ability to toggle the Monitor function on and off from within the input controls menu when your phone is connected to Spire Studio. On iOS, tap the input meter to access the input controls menu. On Android, drag the shelf below the track upward.
Touch the Monitor button to toggle monitor on and off.
When it is turned ON, you will be able to monitor what is being picked up by the internal or connected microphone(s). You will be able to hear previously recorded tracks while recording even if Monitor is turned OFF.
When your phone is disconnected from Spire Studio, the same behavior applies when headphones are connected to your phone.
If you are hearing any feedback while recording or playing back your project, it is recommended to turn the Monitor off.
