Sometimes, after reporting an issue to the Support team, they may ask for diagnostic logs in order to evaluate your issue more effectively.
To send these logs on iOS, navigate to the settings menu of your Spire App while connected to your Spire Studio. Once there, press and hold the “Email us” button for 5 seconds, or until an email automatically populates on your phone/tablet.
To send logs on Android, navigate to the settings menu of your Spire App while connected to your Spire Studio. Press and hold the icon in the top right of your screen that looks like 3 dots for 5 FULL seconds, or until an email automatically populates on your phone/tablet. After selecting to send the email it will be sent to us once your phone has been disconnected from the Spire Studio.
If your phone or tablet has cellular data, you can send the email exactly as generated, which will deliver these diagnostic logs directly to the Spire Support team! If you do not have a data connection, you must manually switch back to your home WiFi network after the email has populated, then send the email. Please note, it is only necessary to send diagnostic logs if you have been prompted to do so by a member of our support team.
