Symptom
When using RX on Windows, the audio sounds thin, crackling, or distorted.
Cause
This sound issue may be caused by the Advanced Audio Settings on your Windows PC.
Solutions
Please select your Windows version:
Windows 11
- Click the Windows start button, type in sound settings and hit enter.
- In the Advanced category, click More sound settings.
- Click the Playback tab, select your device and click Properties.
- Open the Advanced tab and deactivate the option Enable audio enhancements.
Windows 7-10
- Click the Windows start button, type in sound settings and hit enter.
- Under Output, click Device Properties.
- Navigate to Related Settings > Additional Device Properties.
- Open the Advanced tab and deactivate the option Enable audio enhancements.
